DH wanted a toy to take with him on his deployment. He wants to take pictures of it to send back to us from everywhere he goes. So, being the SewingMama that I am, I had to make one!!! And then I thought of those cute dolls from the Wee Wonderfuls website. And how cute would it be if I had a doll to take pictures of too? And then when he comes back, we can combine our photos in a book! Oh, yes yes!
After he saw them, DH said I’ll need to sew their hands together when he comes back so they’ll never be separated again.
So this is Our Blog about our dolls and our year (plus) apart.

Gene & Barb,
This is a wonderful idea! We’ll be looking forward to seeing new postings over the next year. Even though we’re clear across the country – we’ll miss you Gene, because we know you’re not at home with Barb and the kids. Hopefully the time will fly by for ALL of us! We love you both.
